Yes Children over the age of 12 can get an infusion as well. Under the age of 12 is also accepted but it is up to the provider if they decide to treat the child based upon their medical discretion.

How long do fluids stay in the body?
Fluids will leave your body as necessary. With us working directly with the bloodstream and our body can immediately use the vitamins and fluids. Your kidney's also affect how our body flushes the fluids out. If you're mildly dehydrated you may excrete the fluids a little faster than someone who has kidney problems or older in age.

Can pregnant women get an IV?
Yes pregnant women can get an infusion and north texas infusion specialist often partners with OB-GYN's and family practice physicians to provide the best optimal care for pregnant, breast feeding and post partum mothers in general.
How long do drips take?
Drips take around 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Drips containing NAD can typically take 60-120 minutes because we would like to monitor the drip a little more closely.
Do you take insurance?
Insurance is something we currently do not accept.
There aren't any individual side effects for this and if there are any side effects they would be bruising, discomfort, redness, itching, or inflammation around the site. Typically these last for a few minutes or for a couple of days. True allergic reactions are extremely rare. If you do experience any throat swelling, pruritic rash, drastic changes in blood pressure, or any symptoms of anaphylaxis following administration following anaphylaxis visit your nearest emergency department and if you are allergic to any of these ingredients please avoid these ingredients and tell your provider immediately.
